By booking an excursion with trip2puntacana.com, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

  • Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and require full payment or a deposit (as specified) to secure your reservation.
  • Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and secure online payments via Paypal and Strip.
  • Outstanding Balances: Full payment must be completed 48 hours before the excursion date. Unpaid balances may result in cancellation.
  • Adult : A participant aged 13 years or older.
  • Solo : A reservation for one person.
  • Double : A reservation for two people.
  • Child : A participant under the age of 13 years.
  • Family : A group consisting of up to three adults and one child.
  • Infant : A participant aged between zero and three years.
  • Shared Tour : A tour where your group may be joined by other participants.
  • Private Tour : A tour exclusively reserved for your group, with no other participants.
  • Pickup Time : The scheduled time we begin picking up clients from their hotels. After booking confirmation, we will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time at your hotel.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customer Cancellations:
    • Full refund: Cancellations made 72+ hours before the excursion.
    • 50% refund: Cancellations made 24–72 hours before the excursion.
    • No refund: Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows.
  • Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel/modify tours due to unsafe weather, low participation, or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will receive a full refund or rescheduling option.
  • Processing: Refunds may take 7–10 business days to reflect in your account.

3. Participant Responsibilities

  • Safety: Follow all instructions from guides/staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.
  • Health & Fitness: Disclose medical conditions, allergies, or mobility restrictions during booking. Some tours may require minimum fitness levels.
  • Punctuality: Arrive 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals forfeit participation.

4. Liability Waiver

  • Assumption of Risk: Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from:
    • Natural disasters, accidents, or third-party actions.
    • Failure to follow safety guidelines.
  • Insurance: We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, injuries, or emergencies.

5. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information (name, email, payment details) solely to process bookings and communicate updates.
  • GDPR Compliance: Data is stored securely and never shared with third parties without consent.

6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations/delays caused by unforeseeable events, including:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes).
  • Political unrest, pandemics, or strikes.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: Disputes are subject to the laws of the Dominican Republic.
  • Mediation: Parties agree to resolve issues through mediation before pursuing legal action.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
